Freestyle Race

The second of seven in the Ute Cup Nordic Series. This event takes place at the Spring Gulch Nordic Trail System outside of Carbondale. This is a skate race of 5K or 10k for all ages and 1K and 3K for juniors. Individual Start (5K & 10K), Mass start (1k & 3K) beginning at the Spring Gulch Trailhead.

Registration Times: to be announced.
Registration Cost: $20 for U20 and under, $25 for Masters & Seniors. Price will increases by $10 closer to the event date.
Bib Pickup: 8:30-11am at AVSC tent at the race start/finish area
Start Times:
10K U18 and Over Men: 1 skier every 30 seconds starting at 10am
10K U18 and Over Women: 1 skier every 30 seconds starting at 10:30am
5K U16 and Over Men/Women: 1 skier every 30 seconds starting at 11am
1K/3K: U8, U10, U12, U14: mass start at 11:30am
Course: 1K & 3K (Juniors only), 5K & 10K (All Ages) courses will be set the morning of the race.
Parking: Please park in designated parking lot or along the downhill (east) side of the road past the Thompson parking lot. Do NOT park on the uphill (west) side of the road or below the parking lot, as these areas must remain clear for emergency vehicle access
Food & Drink: Please bring your own energy bars and hydration.
Raffle/Results Announcements: Raffle and results will be announced after the race.
