Skate Relays

The fourth of seven in the Ute Cup Nordic Series.

When: January 20th at 5:00 pm

2 x 3 x .25K Skate Relay

Junior Race (12 & Under Only)
Start Time: 5pm
Start Location: Aspen High School Tracks outside AVSC clubhouse
Finish Location: Same as Start
Participation Limit: 36 People (18 teams of 2)
Cost: $15
Description: Team of 2 relays. Each member of the team will need to alternately race three 1/4km laps in this race. Mass start.

All Age Groups (U12 and up)
2 Start Time: 5:45pm (U12-U20) & 6:30pm (U18 & Older, 16+)
Start Location: Aspen High School Tracks outside AVSC clubhouse
Finish Location: Same as Start
Participation Limit per race: 20 teams of 2

General Race Information

Registration : Registration is available at https://www.skireg.com/ute-series-xc-games-evening-team-sprints . Registration ends 5pm Jan 19 (day before).

Bib Pickup: Bib pickup will begin at 4pm on race day at AVSC
Course: the .25k and 1k courses will be set around 4pm on race day.
Food & Drink: Please bring your own energy bars and hydration.

Questions About The Race

Team Members? Both members of your team need to be registered for the race.

Which teammate starts the race? You decide! But both racers must be signed up for the race and have signed waivers

Where do the teammates that are not starting the race wait? Well away from all the racers starting the race. All racers waiting for the transition should wait on the inside of the teaching loop – racers finishing their lap will be directed to the outside of the teaching loop.
