Shipping Policy
Ute Mountaineer
Online Return Policy
The Ute
Mountaineer will be
happy to issue a refund,
store credit or an
exchange for items that
are return within 30
days of the day they are
shipped. Please see our
warranty policy for
defective items that
need to be returned due
to a manufacturing flaw.
The following criteria
must be met in order to
return an item for
refund or online gift
certificate:
• All returns must be in
“new” and resellable
condition. The item can
show no sign of wear,
must not be dirty or
damaged, and cannot
smell of any odors.
• Returned items must
have all the original
hangtags.
• Returned items must be
accompanied by a copy of
the original receipt.
Without a receipt, an
online gift certificate
(for a value equal to
the most recent price)
will be issued.
• If you would like to
exchange an item, it is
best to reorder the item
and send the original
product back for refund.
If you do not have the
receipts, you must
return the item and
await notification of an
online gift certificate.
• Used equipment cannot
be returned for any
reason other than
defects in the materials
or workmanship.
• Returned items must be
accompanied by a
completed New Product
Return Form.

Policy
The Ute Mountaineer only
sells product that are
built to last and that
carry an extensive
manufacturer’s warranty.
The Ute Mountaineer will
replace, give credit for
or provide a refund for
any product returned
with a manufacturer’s
defect (determined by
Ute staff) within one
month of purchase from
the Ute Mountaineer. If
the product is returned
after one month of
purchase, the product
must be sent to the
manufacturer for
evaluation.

1. If you are unsure the
item has a
manufacturer’s defect,

Mountaineer via e-mail
or telephone for advice.
2. Complete an Online
Warranty & Repair Form.

3. Clean the item. The
Ute Mountaineer and the
manufacturer will not
handle any items that
are dirty. Not cleaning
an item will slow the
warranty process down
and may incur a cleaning
fee of up to $50 or the
item may be returned to
you.
4. Return the item and a
copy of the original
receipt to:

5. If the item is under
warranty and cannot be
repaired or replaced,
you will receive credit
towards the purchase of
another item. Refunds
will only be issued for
unused items.
6. If the item is not
deemed to be a
manufacturer’s defect,
the Ute Mountaineer will
contact the customer
with options for repair.
Shipping and repair
charges will apply for
repairs that are not
covered under
manufacturer’s warranty.
Product Being
Returned More than One
Month from the Date of
Purchase
1. If you are unsure the
item has a
manufacturer’s defect,
contact the Ute
Mountaineer via e-mail
or telephone for advice.
2. The customer has the
option to send the item
directly to the
manufacturer or to send
it to the Ute
Mountaineer first. The
Ute Mountaineer will
charge $15 ($30 for
skis) to return an item
to the manufacturer for
the customer. The Ute
Mountaineer is happy to
return product for the
customer, but sending
the product directly to
the manufacturer will
speed up the process and
cost less.
3. To return item to the
Ute Mountaineer,
complete an Online
Warranty & Repair Form.

Shipping Destinations
The Ute Mountaineer can
ship to physical
addresses in all 50
United States
and the District of
Columbia. We do not ship
to PO Boxes.
Shipping Time
All orders should be
shipped within 24 hours
of placement. Please
allow
3-7 business days for
delivery on UPS ground
shipments.
