About Duncan Callahan
 Vasque athlete and 2008 Leadville 100 Champion Duncan Callahan resides in Gunnison, CO. with his wife Annie. Callahan, a professional cross-country ski coach, has bee running ultra events for three full season and looks to continue his impressive results in the future. As a Team Vasque athlete Callahan is proud to run in Vasque footwear and be a part of the 6-member group of athletes from all over the country. Callahan has many podium finishes to his credit thus far in his short career, including a 1st place in the 2007 Desert Ultra 50 miler, a 3rd place finish in the 2008 Sam Juan Solstice 50 miler, a 1st place finish in the prestigious Leadville 100 in 2008. In addition, Callahan was on the podium in 7 different events in 2009: 2nd place at the Rocky Raccoon 50 miler in Huntsville, TX: 1st place at the Moab 100 in March: 1st place at the Spring Desert Ultra 25 miler in April; 3rd place at the 2009 Leadville 100 in August. Most recently, Callahan pulled off a victory by setting a course record at the Grand Teton 50 miler in Wyoming. About the presentation
This talk and slide show will focus mainly on the joys of ultrarunning and what Duncan has learned so far. He will also give a little background on himself and his relationship with Vasque. provide training/nutrition ideas and stories and conduct a question and answer session.
