The Ute Mountaineer is the local's and

Aspen/Snowmass area. When we're not in the
store we are usually out having fun in the
backcountry using what we sell. We take
great pride in helping our customers select
the right gear for their needs and product
knowledge is a key element. Our trips in
Aspen's backcountry and beyond give us a
good understanding of what products are
best. You choose- hiking, camping,
backpacking, rock climbing, running,
mountaineering, telemark skiing, alpine
touring, cross country skiing, we know it ,
we use it and we supply the gear for it. The
quality of the gear we carry is surpassed
